**Senior Security Architect** A senior security architect is sought for a long-term contract in Dublin, with hybrid working options available. **Job Description** The successful candidate will lead the architecture and design of infrastructure projects, ensuring successful deployment to the production environment. They will work within approved methodologies and standards, delivering solution architecture compliant with Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture direction. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the architecture and design of infrastructure projects * Participate and advise during project implementation * Ensure designs are robust, resilient, and secure * Provide architectural direction to Security, Application, Infrastructure, and Dev Ops projects * Collaborate with internal clients and account managers to ensure architecture meets business requirements * Develop architectural and design documentation * Lead the delivery of engagement responses * Contribute to project planning and definition of activities, resources, timelines, and cost estimates **Requirements** * Significant experience in a technical role working as a Technical Solutions Specialist for infrastructure * 8+ years working in IS, with a strong Infrastructure Project delivery record * Proven track record in working effectively as part of a team within formal project management methodologies and processes * Industry-standard security certification * Leadership qualities, and ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels * Broad technical knowledge of Application and Infrastructure disciplines, including: + VMWare NSX + Cisco Datacentre, Campus LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure + Network security stacks (Micro segmentation, Firewalling, IPS, Encryption technologies) + Container networking + Azure Iaa S / Paa S + Saa S + ZScaler Technologies + Hybrid cloud environment **Competencies** * Leadership * Communicating & Influencing * Building and Maintaining Relationships * Drive for Results * Innovation and Change
