A leading technology company in Dublin seeks a Senior Security Architect to lead the architecture and design of infrastructure projects, ensuring successful deployment to the production environment.
About the Job
As a key member of the company's Architecture team, you will be responsible for providing architectural direction to Security, Application, Infrastructure, and DevOps projects. You will work closely with internal clients and account managers to ensure the architecture meets business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of Information Technology Solutions
- Consult with internal clients and account managers to ensure architecture meets business requirements
- Design solutions that meet stated functional and non-functional requirements
- Provide robust and cost-effective designs
- Adhere to company standards and methodologies to ensure compliance
- Develop and communicate architectural and design documentation
- Lead the delivery of engagement responses and contribute to project planning
- Take leadership role and responsibilities for the architecture and design of IT solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years working in IS with a strong Infrastructure Project delivery record
- Significant experience in a technical role working as a Technical Solutions Specialist for infrastructure
- Proven track record in working effectively as part of a team within formal project management methodologies
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels to drive a better design solution
- Possess an industry-standard security certification or in the process of obtaining one
- Broad technical knowledge of Application and Infrastructure disciplines, including but not limited to:
- VMWare NSX
- Cisco Datacentre, Campus LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure
- Network security stacks (Micro segmentation, Firewalling, IPS, Encryption technologies)
- Container networking
- Azure Iaa S / Paa S
- Saa S
- ZScaler Technologies
- Hybrid cloud environment
