Commercial and Regulatory Lawyer

As a Commercial and Regulatory Lawyer, you will be responsible for driving legal risk management of regulatory change and implementation in all matters affecting KPMG, such as AML, Company law & general EU Financial Services focused regulation.

  • Proactively identify and contribute to the management of regulatory risk.
  • Identify and analyse regulatory changes and advise internal stakeholders on the effective implementation of those requirements.
  • Support and advise business and teams on applicable regulatory requirements including on the regulatory aspects of new service lines or KPMGI network initiatives.
  • Provide regulatory advice to internal client support teams including HR, Finance & Risk.
  • Contribute to stakeholder management of KPMG relationships with key regulators including preparation/coordination of responses to requests for information and participation working group calls.
  • Participate in internal Working Groups on regulatory topics and KPMGI initiatives.
  • Lead the development of internal policies and procedures to ensure KPMG continues to meet its regulatory obligations.
  • Help to deliver team and departmental objectives, participating in the development of processes, policies and procedures and preparing and delivering training and presentations.
  • Supporting and contributing to the commercial contracting team on larger commercial reviews.
