Aviva is seeking talented individuals to join its Motor and Liability Claims Teams in Cork Airport Business Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide expert advice to customers.

Job Description

We are looking for people who want to embark on a career in insurance in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Claims-Advisor, you will investigate and settle claims, controlling costs and supporting customers throughout the process.

  • Negotiate claims settlements for complex and non-complex injury and damage claims
  • Demonstrate a consistent approach to handling your portfolio of work, ensuring early decision making and exploring all settlement opportunities
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners, in a professional and approachable manner
  • Have confidence to seek guidance and make decisions which are right first time
  • Share learnings and feedback with colleagues and partners

Insurance qualification (APA Personal and Commercial General Insurance) is an advantage but not essential for these roles. Previous experience in Motor and/or Liability Claims Handling is also advantageous.
