We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Inpatient Spine Liaison Nurse (CNM2) to join Poynton Spinecare @Mater Private Network Dublin. Role Summary To hold a key role in the management of the in-patients of the Poynton SpineCare @ Mater Private Network Complete Regular in-patient Ward Rounds in collaboration with Spine Consultants Communicate with all Consultants of the Poynton Spine Care @ Mater Private Network, other Consultants or GPs who refer patients to the service. Work collaboratively with other persons to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care is used for all patients referred to patients of Poynton SpineCare @ Mater Private Network Provide mentorship ,preceptorship and education for nursing colleagues as appropriate. Organise the planning and implementation of care for Spine patients and their significant others. Application Criteria: Registered General Nurse with The Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register with NMBI. 5 years post-registration experience in the acute hospital setting/relevant clinical area within the last 7 years. A minimum of three years' experience in the specialist area of Orthopedics and/ or Spine Surgery. Management experience desirable. Have the ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice. Have evidence of continuing professional development. Formal recognized post-registration education relevant to the area of specialist practice at level 8 (higher Diploma) according to the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework is desirable.
