Inside Sales /Sales Administration/Order Management Associate Permanent, Full-time role Salary: €40k pa, + bonus + pension Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Dublin 24 area (Rathcoole). Own transport preferred Our client, a leading global distributor of electrical, data and telecommunications products is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Associate to join their existing team. You will?interact with existing customers, primarily via phone and email, in obtaining orders and in up-selling of products/services, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met. Required Skills/Experience: Proven experience in sales and sales administration. An ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts Ability to identify and find solutions independently to issues Strong clear communication skills, both verbally and written Attention to detail Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work independently with supervision Familiar with Microsoft Office suite Responsibilities Obtains?orders?through?email?and?telephone?calls, verifies and enters items, transfers orders to fulfilment, explains stock-outs and expected delivery dates.?? Increases orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checks customers buying history.? With guidance, owns, qualifies and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.? Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.? Reviews open customer order reports and act on open items, including those items that may be at risk in meeting customers promised delivery date.?? Maintains distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification.?
