Looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support the Sales team in a leading Automation and engineering company based in Cork. As well as dealing with inbound sales queries, you will also be doing generating leads by following up on queries and reactiving customers. Key Responsibilities Generate new business by proactive responses to inbound opportunities and outbound activities to qualify customers. Lead follow-up efforts based on management information and order history to create early-stage pipelines. Present weekly updates on sales activities and customer data using CRM reporting tools. Work closely with the external sales team and support teams to execute growth strategies and drive revenue. Conduct industry research, process sales orders, generate reports, and support invoicing, alongside performing ad hoc duties assigned by the sales manager. Experience/Requirements A third-level qualification or equivalent work experience in a related business discipline, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in inside sales or B2B sales, particularly in the industrial automation sector. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a confident, patient, and strategic approach to guiding customers through effective listening and problem-solving. A proactive, self-motivated individual with a hunter mindset, comfortable with office-based sales activities like cold calling, emails, and social selling, while maintaining focus on targets and KPIs. High level of computer literacy, particularly with ERP, CRM systems (including SAP), and Microsoft tools, with a meticulous attention to detail in work.
