We are presently recruiting for a Insite Manager - Mechanical Engineering for our esteemed client Rubix, a multinational company. Rubix Ireland, part of Europes largest supplier of industrial MRO (Materials, Repair, and Operations) products and services, has been a leader in the Mechanical MRO market for over 40 years. Operating from Dublin and with over 750 locations across 22 countries, Rubix provides specialised expertise in a range of industrial parts and services, including bearings, PPE, and mechanical power transmission. This is a full time, permanent position based in County Roscommon. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, we require someone with extensive knowledge and experience of dealing with engineering suppliers and setting up, managing and working on a supply chain network." Oversee all mechanical engineering projects from BOM (Bill of Materials) to Quality Analysis, ensuring that all project goals are met on time, within scope, and budget. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration. Manage on-site operations, including the installation and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that all mechanical engineering work meets industry standards and client expectations. Plan and allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and labour, to optimize efficiency and productivity. Maintain, Monitor and Report on project progress, financial status, and technical issues to stakeholders. Ensure timely procurement of all Engineering Materials and Services required for optimum product flow for efficient production. Identify cost-saving opportunities and Implement cost-reduction initiatives to run an economic service chain. 3. Experience and qualification requirements A recognized qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. A masters degree is preferred. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. Proven experience in engineering/production environments, including planning, designing, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. In-depth knowledge of machine design specifications, mechanical systems and industry standards. Ability to analyze complex technical problems, develop effective solutions and interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders effectively. Must be able to show leadership qualities and strategies and implement them. Proficiency in engineering design and analytics software and management tools and ERP systems. Advanced reporting skills with formulas and complex financial spreadsheets in MS Excel for dashboarding the day-to-day operations in manufacturing. Full Irish Driving License. Package on Offer ?
