Job Description

We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join our team to create engaging and effective online courses, utilizing instructional design theories and multimedia authoring tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, excellent communication skills, and experience with content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise 360. Key Responsibilities: •⁠ ⁠Develop creative and engaging custom learning and training materials and courses in interactive, self-paced, and video formats. •⁠ ⁠Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods to the material developed. •⁠ ⁠Review draft content and provide input to enhance clarity of objectives, structure, and graphical and interactive features in an iterative workflow. •⁠ ⁠Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process in training for external clients. •⁠ ⁠Design and produce instructional graphics, create digital images, video animation, and textual animations. •⁠ ⁠Project manage a team of instructional designers to meet customer deliverables. •⁠ ⁠Maintain project documentation and course folders. •⁠ ⁠Effectively use digital media, e Learning development tools, and other emerging technologies to create compelling training content. •⁠ ⁠Draft storyboards, scripts, and prototypes of training content and proactively manage drafts through proper reviews, updates, and approvals. •⁠ ⁠When necessary, create customized versions of related content for different target audiences. •⁠ ⁠Convert existing documentation and training materials into engaging and effective online courses. •⁠ ⁠Contribute to the continuous development of quality assurance, digital resources, and end-user documentation to enable the effective adoption of technology in learning and teaching. Requirements: •⁠ ⁠Third-level qualification in Instructional Design or a related discipline. •⁠ ⁠Three+ years' relevant experience in creating e Learning courses using multimedia authoring tools. •⁠ ⁠Excellent spoken English and writing at native-level proficiency. •⁠ ⁠Expertise with Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 is desirable. •⁠ ⁠Familiarity with content authoring tools such as SAP Enable Now, Adobe Creative Cloud, Captivate, Walk me, and Camtasia is a distinct advantage. •⁠ ⁠Working knowledge of DITA XML content creation is an advantage. •⁠ ⁠Demonstrated ability to apply instructional design theory, models, and technical training best practices. •⁠ ⁠Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs and develop media-rich, engaging, and high-impact learning solutions. •⁠ ⁠Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information and convert it into easily understandable learning content. •⁠ ⁠Multimedia design skills, including the ability to create digital images, video animation, and textual animations. •⁠ ⁠Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and audio scripts/video scripts as required. •⁠ ⁠Outstanding writing, editing, critical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills. •⁠ ⁠Ability to analyse moderately complex problems and propose logical solutions. •⁠ ⁠Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
