Location: National Learning Network - Unit 77 Broomhill Rd, Tallaght, Dublin Job Purpose : The Instructor is responsible for the training and development of Learners in accordance with the agreed local training programme specifications, together with the day-to-day running of the Catering unit and maintenance of all aspects of the training programme. The Instructor assists Learners with additional support needs as part of a team in exploring their future career and educational direction and in making realistic vocational choices with a view to progressing to further education/employment. Minimum Education & Experience required: Experience in City & Guilds and /or QQI certification and accreditation process. A relevant Pedagogical Qualification, e.g., Train the Trainer Level 6 or equivalent At least 4 years working as a professional in the subject matter area At least 2 years experience in a management/supervisory role in catering is desirable Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, maintaining all records required for effective monitoring of the learner ' s progress. Ensure that instructional & assessment methods, lesson plans and materials used suit programme content and learner needs. Meet the key performance indicators of the contract in relation to learner progression and achievement of certification targets. Report to the course on all matters pertaining to the programme and immediately inform the manager should any problems arise. Additional requirements As part of our recruitment process, if applicable, candidates will be required to provide a Police certificate from the countries they have resided prior coming to Ireland.
