Job Summary: Rehabilitation Training Instructor required to develop and deliver training programs for individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and integration.

Job Purpose:
- To equip learners with skills to develop personally, socially, and vocationally, making future choices and progressing to greater levels of independence and integration.
- To work with individuals of varying needs and abilities, including ASD, autism, physical and sensory difficulties, behavioural difficulties, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs in a person-centred training environment.
- Provide systematic training according to specified curricula and maintain records of learner progress.
- Carry out one-to-one key working and assist learners in developing Individual Action Plans.
- Evaluate learner needs and produce profiles of those needs.
- Support and assist individuals with mixed abilities, behaviours, and varying needs.
Requirements:
- Education and Training to 3rd level standard, e.g., Youth and Community Work, teaching, adult education.
- Specific training qualification, e.g., Train the Trainer, at minimum.
- Mental health and recovery model experience or qualifications are desired.
- Experience of working in a specialized training environment and with people with intellectual disabilities and ASD.
