Job Description
The Rehab Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Training Instructor to work with individuals with disabilities and their families, providing training and support to equip them with confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering the Rehabilitative Training Programme, working with individuals with varying needs and abilities, including intellectual disabilities, autism, physical and sensory difficulties, and mental health difficulties. The instructor will also be responsible for creating individual training plans, day-to-day training requirements, and evaluating the rehabilitative and vocational needs of each learner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with experience working in a specialized training environment. They will also have excellent communication and teamworking skills, with the ability to work with individuals of mixed abilities, behaviors, and varying needs. The candidate should be able to demonstrate initiative and competencies that enable them to carry out duties with innovation, flair, and imagination.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering the Rehabilitative Training Programme
- Creating individual training plans and day-to-day training requirements
- Evaluating the rehabilitative and vocational needs of each learner
- Working with individuals with varying needs and abilities
- Providing systematic training according to specified curricula
- Maintaining all records required for effective monitoring of the learners' progress
