We are looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance Risk Manager to join our non-life insurance business in Dublin. This role is central to protecting our financial health by ensuring that all insurance risks are identified, measured, and managed effectively. This is a dynamic role where you will actively review and challenge insurance risks across key areas, such as underwriting, pricing, product development, claims, and reinsurance. You will work closely with various stakeholders across our business, providing risk opinions on key decisions and leading climate scenario analysis. You must have valid Irish/EU work rights to be considered for this position. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide risk opinions on significant business decisions related to insurance activities. Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging risks, including those related to climate change. Lead the development and implementation of risk management processes. Work closely with our business to align risk management strategies with the overall business goals. Ensure compliance with CBI requirements and maintain personal compliance as this is a CF2 role. Mentor and support colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the risk management function. Skills & Experience: Second-line candidates:Proven experience in risk management, particularly within non-life insurance. Strong understanding of insurance risks and experience with scenario analysis, including climate change considerations. First-line candidates: Experience underwriting, pricing, product development, or claims, with a keen interest in transitioning to second-line risk management. Familiarity with risk management concepts and a desire to develop in this area. General requirements: Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture and communicate complex ideas clearly. Proven ability to lead and influence in a collaborative environment. Part-qualified actuary or equivalent professional experience is desirable. What will you get for this role?
