Job Description
Insurance Sales Agent role involves working within the Kenn Co Insurance sales department, dealing directly with customers, and achieving sales targets.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, and have a positive outlook.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying calls likely to result in new business
- Converting leads into sales to achieve and exceed individual targets
- Identifying upselling & cross selling opportunities
- Building rapport with customers
- Ensuring all data is kept up to date on applied relay systems
- Dealing with all customer requests in an efficient manner
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Processing leads, quotations and new business policies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Required skills and knowledge:
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage daily tasks
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Applied system (Relay) knowledge an advantage
- Clear & proficient communication and negotiation skills
Experience and qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in personal lines
- Minimum APA qualified
