Job Description
Lead the development of digital interface product platforms for medical devices and systems, collaborating with Marketing and R&D teams to generate insights and concepts. As a member of the User Experience Design team, drive strategic thinking to deliver innovative user experiences optimizing user needs, business goals, and technological realities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply user-centred design processes with cross-functional teams on multiple work streams.
- Manage and track UX metrics, negotiate trade-offs, and report out project success.
- Implement 1-1's, design review meetings, and demonstrations for internal and external teams.
- Create close professional relationships with cross-functional leaders to understand business needs.
- Teach relevant user experience methods to developers and stakeholders.
- Deliver and manage UI specifications, wireframes, workflows, and prototypes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, UI Design, or related fields.
- 9+ years of experience as an interaction/visual designer in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience in Interaction Design, preferably in a regulated industry like medical.
- Strong skills in creative design tools, including Axure, Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Jira.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-platform development, and app frameworks.
