Job Description

  • Support the client's Directorate in developing the client interface strategy, covering the entire project lifecycle, including the Major Infrastructure Contracts and other Core Contracts.
  • Review and consider the Interface Agreement currently being developed by the client and suggest any necessary changes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Consult with relevant departments within the client to review and develop the interface strategy and Interface Agreement.
  • Share and communicate with the Project Delivery Partner in implementing the interface strategy.
  • Coordinate inputs and manage the interface with external stakeholders, ensuring effective management arrangements are in place.
  • Identify key interfaces and ensure clear definitions, responsibilities, and ownership are established.
  • Coordinate all projects and maintain effective communications with interfacing stakeholders to achieve required delivery requirements.
  • Plan and execute projects in accordance with HSSEQ, scope, time, and cost parameters.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the interface team in managing efficient delivery for the client.
  • Coordinate with wider project teams for works in progress, agreeing specifications, standards, construction supervision, and testing requirements.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in interface management, construction management, or project management, with at least 5 years of experience in high-value metro rail projects or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing delivery planning, integration of complex projects, and managing contractor, consultants, and other advisors in regulated environments.
  • Experience in driving and leading a positive safety culture, working within safety-critical and regulated environments, and driving best practice in technical activities.
