As a Financial Accountant, you will report to the Financial Director and work on some key projects within the team. The role involves daily interaction with key stakeholders in a dynamic and engaging work environment. We seek a high-energy individual with strong financial control experience to support monthly general ledger close, reconciliations, external interim audits, and final audits. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accountant (2/3 years PQE) to join this team and report directly to the Finance Director. In this role, you will take ownership of key financial tasks for the business while supporting the wider Finance Team as needed. Your responsibilities will include the full production of Management Accounts to Trial Balance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also oversee the preparation of Financial Statements in line with relevant accounting policies, assist with external audits, and maintain strong control over debtor balances in accordance with agreed terms. Additionally, you will handle month-end balance sheet reconciliations, promptly addressing any discrepancies, and keep procedural manuals up to date. Flexibility for ad-hoc duties is essential. Ideally, youll have 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Financial Services. Experience with Solvency II regulatory reporting is a bonus, and familiarity with Sun System and Vision Reporting would set you apart!
