Experienced Interim Financial Controller sought to lead finance team in Kilkenny, driving regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and efficiency across various projects.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee finance activities, partner with finance teams, and manage treasury, banking relationships, and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance activities, including forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, and compliance.
• Partner with finance teams to streamline monthly management accounts and reports.
• Prepare project gross margin analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, and budgeting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support payroll and resolve any related queries.
• Collaborate with senior management on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with annual audits and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong proficiency in financial systems, including Sage, ERP, and Excel.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
