Job Description
An Intermediate Electrical Engineer is sought to join a close-knit design consultancy in Mullingar. The team focuses on delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for commercial and residential projects throughout Ireland.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and overseeing electrical systems for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
- Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports for electrical installations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that designs are being implemented as planned.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience in electrical design in the Irish Consultancy sector, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, building codes, and safety standards.
