Job Description
A Quantity Surveyor is required for a large new build education project in Cork City, working on site and reporting to a Senior QS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project objectives are met, compiling final accounts and valuations, and interacting with the project team to maximise project procurement and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure project objectives are met and implement changes as necessary
- Compile final accounts, variations, and valuations
- Manage sub-contractors and payments
- Develop and maintain cost plans
- Provide cost reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with the project team to optimise project strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and the supply chain
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of three years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience working on sites in Ireland or the UK
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
