Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Job In Cork

Job Description

Our client, a large building contractor, requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a large new build education project in Cork City.

The successful QS will report to a Senior QS and will be primarily site-based.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure project objectives are met and set a change in process where appropriate
2. Compile the final accounts, variations, and valuations
3. Sub-contractors tendering and payments
4. Cost plans
5. Cost reporting
6. Interact with the project team to maximise project procurement, production, and strategies
7. Ability to form and develop relationships with clients, PQS, design teams, and the supply chain

The Person

1. Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification
2. Minimum of three years' QS experience
3. Worked on sites in Ireland or the UK
4. Hungry to learn and develop
5. Excellent communicator
6. Strong time management and reporting skills
