Job Description
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor required for a large scale Mixed-use development in Dublin City Centre.
A leading contractor based in Dublin is recruiting for an intermediate QS to work on a large scale Mixed-use development in Dublin City Centre.
The successful QS will report to a Senior QS and will be primarily site based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project objectives are met and set a change in process where appropriate
- Compile the final accounts, variations and valuations
- Sub-contractors tendering and payments
- Cost plans
- Cost reporting
- Interact with the project team to maximise project procurement, production and strategies
Person Specification:
- Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or strong construction experience
- Previous experience on projects over €10m is beneficial but not necessary
- Hungry to learn and develop
- Excellent communicator
- Strong time management and reporting skills
The company will actively develop the successful Quantity Surveyor and will provide full support with education / chartership.
