Intermediate Quantity Surveyor: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 3 + years main building contractor experience required for a well-established for a mid-sized Main Building Contractor to work on a large scale project in Swords which is just starting. This is the ideal role for the Intermediate QS with about 3 years experience with a main building contractor who would like to develop a long-term career with one of the best construction companies in Ireland. This Contractors commercial department is very well set up and well resourced. Requirements: Degree qualified with at least 3 years experience in Quantity Surveying with a main building contractor in Ireland or the UK. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Must be commercially and contractually aware. Ambitious and committed to deliver an excellent standard of work. Must be eligible to work in Ireland. Role: Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate s/cs, negotiation & finalise s/c orders, financial & commercial management of s/cs to Final Account completion. Managing and reporting of forecasts, target, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, assisting in the site records & document control Liaisingwith & commercially influence/challenge site management team whilst maintaining & protecting JSS commercial & contractual entitlement Managing& overseeing AQS & TQS, checking & taking responsibility for their work & sign-off SMM/measurement issues Salary: Starting Salary: €50k €60k Excellent career development Travel allowance / company vehicle If you are a Intermediate Quantity Surveyorlooking for your next career move,please send your CV or call Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
