Job Requisition ID # 24WD82065 Position Overview This is an intern position in our Platform Engineering organisation in Autodesk. Autodesk is a Nasdaq listed, global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software and provides SAAS products running primarily on AWS. Autodesk is a leader in the Platform Engineering space as a founder member of the opensource Cloud Native Operational Excellence effort (CNOE). As an intern software engineer you will: Contribute directly to the development of our cloud platform Gain hands-on experience in platform engineering and cloud technologies Work in a collaborative and innovative environment Receive mentorship from experienced engineers Networking opportunities with professionals in the industry Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud platform Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase Perform testing and debugging of platform components to ensure high-quality delivery Work on automating deployment processes and improving system performance Assist in monitoring and maintaining the health of the platform infrastructure Write and maintain technical documentation Enhance your coding by using new tools and programming languages Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution in a school project or while working for a company Understanding of networking concepts and protocols Exposure to Linux/Unix operating systems Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for technology The Ideal Candidate Hands-on software development experience in Python Production experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure on AWS Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools Experience with cloud-native applications Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
