Internal Audit & Financial Reporting Manager

• Prepare or review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or Luxembourg GAAP.
• Develop template financial statements using Hedge Serv's Financial Reporting tool and a third-party application.
• Coordinate and chair weekly calls with Auditors, Investment Managers, and Hedge Serv team members.
• Build a detailed knowledge of GAAP and regulations to understand the range of disclosures permissible under the legislation.
• Research queries on GAAP and regulations and prepare summary memos for circulation to Hedge Serv employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare or review financial statements, develop template financial statements, and coordinate weekly calls.
• Investment Manager and Auditor Instructions: Develop financial statements in accordance with fund domicile regulations, relevant GAAP, and constituting documents.
• GAAP and Regulation Knowledge: Build a detailed knowledge of GAAP and regulations to understand the range of disclosures permissible under the legislation.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and investigate errors or problems, provide guidance for solutions, and review the work of others.

Requirements:

• Education: Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business Degree (min 2.2)
• Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2 years post-qualified experience in audit or financial reporting for Hedge Funds.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Personal Skills: Guide, motivate, and coach staff, take ownership of designated tasks, and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
