Osborne Executive are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Audit Manager to join our Clients Internal Audit team. Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the annual internal audit plan. Salary D.O.E. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with the ability to manage specific tasks and assignments independently. The role requires an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Adaptability and an awareness of emerging trends in the sector will be crucial, as well as the ability to provide innovative recommendations. Key Responsibilities Include: Conduct and manage audit assignments from initiation to completion Develop detailed audit plans, identifying key risks and controls, setting audit objectives, and designing appropriate audit programs. Assist in the development and implementation of a risk-based annual audit plan. Promote the value of internal audit, emphasizing continuous improvement, internal control, risk management, and corporate governance across the organisation. Establish and maintain productive working relationships across all departments. Leverage best practices and audit tools, including data analytics, to optimize audit processes. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: A primary degree in a relevant field. At least 5 years of experience working in an audit environment. Strong experience in controls testing and/or internal auditing. Advanced technical audit and accounting skills. Experience in managing audits or projects. Excellent IT skills. Desirable: A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or CMIAA certification. Full membership in a recognized professional accountancy body or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Experience in public sector auditing and an understanding of the regulatory environment.
