Job Description

Internal Auditor CRC Clontarf - 6 Month Contract, Full-time, 35 hours per week The CRC are seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Internal Auditor to join the CRC management team based at Clontarf. As a certified internal auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our governance across all functions including financial operations. This post is also tasked to identify areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates should possess the following: Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA). Proven experience in internal auditing. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and risk management. Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using audit management software and data analysis tools. Experience in developing and executing audit plans and evaluating internal control systems. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial documents and audit reports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and industry practices. Preferred skills and qualifications Advanced degree in accounting, finance or related field. Experience in conducting audits in a regulated industry. Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data analytics. Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques. Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work with large data sets. Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with international auditing standards. It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies, and knowledge for the post.
