International Tax Director General Information Location: Dublin/Cork/Galway/Limerick/Waterford Business Area: Tax Contract Type: Full-Time – Permanent EY’s culture promotes a flexible hybrid working environment. Our globally coordinated Tax practice combines exceptional knowledge and experience with local expertise and cutting-edge technology platforms, making us a market leader in Tax services. You will receive exposure to some of EY's most diverse and exciting clients, working with the latest Tax technology solutions in the market. We are currently seeking applications from suitable candidates to join EY’s Tax practice at Director Level. Key Responsibilities Responsible for a broad portfolio of International and/or large Irish domestic clients. Provision of Tax Consulting advice to some of the world’s largest multi-national groups. Advising clients on large and complex cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, group restructurings, IP alignment planning, transfer pricing etc. Assisting clients in developing international Tax strategies and keeping up to date on Tax developments. Working closely with Partners and other team members in providing advice to clients on a wide range of International Tax advisory projects. Project Management of Irish and cross-border planning projects. Researching and reviewing Tax technical memorandum and reports. Liaising with Irish Revenue and foreign Tax authorities on behalf of clients. Opportunities to work with other service lines across Assurance, Strategy, Consulting, and Transactions. Supervising and mentoring a large team across numerous levels. What we look for A qualified Tax consultant, with good corporate Tax experience and ideally some international Tax experience. Should be comfortable dealing with clients and building relationships. They will be a good communicator, self-motivated and capable of leading a team. Will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of international and/or domestic corporate Tax clients. Be involved in the development of the wider Tax team as well as leading business development initiatives.
