Investigator Financial Analyst II

This role involves managing investigator budgets for a set of projects, providing financial analysis and guidance to project teams, and building business relationships across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, technical skills, and analytical abilities, with a focus on investigator payment and project operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly investigator payment forecast cycle and support project analysis requirements.
  • Meet with clients, clinical team members, and other stakeholders to gather information and explain financial impacts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial analysis to support project teams in decision-making.
  • Monitor balance sheet positions and initiate action as needed to improve DSO and cash flow.
  • Play a key role in initiating, building, and reviewing change in scope activity on assigned projects.
  • Provide updates on financial status of investigator payments and create information for client financial reporting needs.
  • Maintain project accrual data and provide investigator reconciliation upon database lock.

Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to interact professionally within a client organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet daily metrics or team objectives.
  • Proficient in use of web-based IT systems and MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
