Location: Dublin – HybridContract Type: Long Term ContractPayment: Day Rate ContractThe Investment Data Analyst will perform critical functions to support daily operations, including oversight of daily workload distribution to ensure helpdesk and project assignments are completed accurately and in a timely manner.This is a hybrid position. Candidates must have full work rights and be based in Ireland to apply.ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business/Finance or Related Field required3-4 years’ experience working in Mutual Fund Operations, Business Analysis, and/or Data Analyst role within a Financial Services CompanyTimely response for the set-up and maintenance requests from customersExperience in varied projects/initiatives from straightforward to complexRespond to research requests requiring assistance and problem resolutionAssist in the documentation, response, and management of client requests for new dataDefine and execute test plans and support user acceptance testingRecommend process enhancements for the efficient, accurate, and timely completion of all activities including data loading, quality checks, and reportingIdentify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve data quality issues. When needed, work with business partners and systems partners to resolve.Ensure work is completed within SLA and work on identifying possible causes of missed SLAsExceptional attention to detailYour ability to think analytically and deliver solutions to complex challenges and recognize when escalation is requiredTeam player who takes initiativeWorking knowledge of investment securities and Bloomberg is an advantageSkillsExcellent understanding and application of MS Office tools, specifically ExcelA self-starter and team player who is assertive, independent, and can manage multiple responsibilities without close supervisionStrong detailed analytical skills with the ability to clearly interpret business and data requirements and communicate meaningful resultsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal, customer relationship management, and negotiation skillsWorking closely with the technology team to assist in the analysis and resolution of production support issuesExperience working on small to medium scale projects where acute attention to detail was critical to successSQL and Oracle skillsKnowledge of Bloomberg terminalOne of the following: Python, SQL, R StudioFull job spec available.To apply or find out more, contact shane.omahony@cpl.ie. #J-18808-Ljbffr
