Our client, a market leader for digital motoring platforms in the Irish market, are currently hiring an iOS Mobile Application Developer to join their media marketplace team. The team are focused on innovating their existing product line-up as well as bring new products and solutions to the market. Working within an agile environment, this role will be responsible for building applications for the iOS platform, primarily in SwiftUI. A successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong development acumen. An appetite to onboard the existing product suite and a willingness to embrace innovation. This role will operate within a tight-knit development team, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities: Design and build applications for the iOS platform mainly in SwiftUI with some legacy Objective-C. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Identify the gaps in our current iOS Application Architecture, and lead redesign of the iOS platform to improve modularity, performance, and quality. Support current native applications and products. The ideal applicant: 2-3 years in designing/developing iOS applications in Swift. Experience with modern iOS development frameworks such as Texture, UIKit, Xcode or SwiftUI. Solid understanding of RESTFul APIs and Integrations Hands-on experience developing and supporting reusable iOS components Experience with consumer facing UI development Full iOS development lifecycle from project creation to release signing Architecting and documenting iOS solutions and code Web service integration (REST, JSON) Git usage and code management Integrating with and using third party libraries/applications (e.g. video providers) Experienced in Xcode, UI Knowledge of Android coding language a bonus (Kotlin, Gradle, Android Studio, Android SDK).
