Job Description
Academic research centre seeks experienced Contracts Manager with strong Intellectual Property background to lead IP management activities.
Our client is a leading academic organisation based in Dublin, Ireland.
Key responsibilities:
- Negotiate and review industry contracts, licensing agreements and IP terms
- Identify and execute IP collaboration frameworks, including issues related to IP and GDPR
- Implement, evaluate and review IP objectives
- Schedule visits with clients and create IP reports on findings
- Present findings to boards
Requirements:
- Third-level degree in law or business
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in academic or industry environment in business development or intellectual property management
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of contracts and research licences with relevant practical commercial experience
- Understanding of IP issues arising in the context of academic research
This is a 3-year fixed-term contract with excellent flexibility and a salary in line with current Government pay policy.
