IT / Cyber Security Internal Audit ManagerDepartment: Risk and Advisory ServicesEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: DublinDescriptionBDO Ireland is in search of a dynamic IT Internal Audit Manager who is eager to embrace a fresh challenge within our innovative and forward-looking Risk and Advisory Services Department. The successful candidate will take on a key role in overseeing and advancing teams dedicated to conducting cyber security controls assessments. This position involves providing guidance to clients on managing their cyber risk and spearheading internal audit initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee teams responsible for conducting cyber security controls assessments.Advise clients on their cyber risk profile through internal audit initiatives.Offer specialized knowledge in cyber risk, staying abreast of the threat landscape, best practices, and regulatory requirements.Perform independent and objective IT internal control procedure reviews.Work with Partners and Directors to oversee delivery of a complex portfolio of IT audits.Identify prospects for improving service delivery and offering supplementary services to clients.Business development, leveraging experience in consultancy/advisory services.Display proficiency in presentation skills and engage proactively in client interactions.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise4+ years IT / Cyber Security audit or consulting experience, internal audit or IT audit within a consulting firm.Demonstrated interest, training, experience, or certification (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP etc.) in cyber security is highly advantageous.Robust technical foundation supporting comprehension of controls (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), IT Governance Risk and Compliance (consultancy experience), security reviews.Knowledge of regulatory landscape (CBI guidelines, NIS2, DORA, GDPR).Proven capability to establish enduring relationships and networks with team members and clients.Track record of managing teams with a dedication to fostering the development of oneself and others.Experience in a consultancy/advisory service.Proficiency in business development skills and a history of contributing to organizational growth.Comfortable with presentation skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
