Job Description

A visionary IT Director will lead our technology team, developing a technology roadmap to align with our company's growth and operational excellence strategy, and ensure the organization keeps pace with technological innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and communicating a technology roadmap that aligns with our company's growth and operational excellence strategy and goals

* Leading and mentoring our development team in India by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices

* Building strong relationships to support integration and excellence across both sites

* Leading technology-focused continuous improvements and transformation projects across the organization

* Strengthening and improving our project management framework and principles to ensure timely delivery along with a robust pipeline of projects which support achievement of strategic business goals

* Implementing robust software development cycle to minimize deployment delays, rework and software bugs

* Driving operational excellence by ensuring our technology infrastructure is up-to-date, efficient, and responsive to business needs

* Proactively identifying, assessing and mitigating against cyber security risk

* Managing relationships with suppliers and partners including 3rd party vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and strategic alignment

* Ensuring strong internal IT support through our outsourced helpdesk

* Assessing the need for new equipment and software to meet internal and external needs

* Leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts to ensure our technology ecosystem is resilient during unexpected disruptions

* Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and productivity

* Providing insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights

Your skills and experience should include:

* Minimum 10 years experience working in IT leadership positions

* Strong experience in business digital transformation

* Strong technical expertise in software development (AWS, mySQL, PHP), infrastructure management (including cybersecurity) and enterprise systems integration

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and report complex technical opportunities into business terms

* Strategic thinker to ensure technology efforts and resources are at all times fully aligned with and serving strategic business needs

* Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and initiatives within an agile framework, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards

* Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines

* Team oriented, with strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Forward thinking with a view to future technologies and an appreciation for working with and enhancing existing IT infrastructure and systems

* 3rd level qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field
