We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a visionary technology roadmap that aligns with our company's growth and operational excellence strategy and goals.
  • Lead and mentor our development team in India by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor project management, business analysis, testing and IT operations and ensure delivery against established goals.
  • Build strong relationships to support integration and excellence across both sites.
  • Lead technology-focused continuous improvements and transformation projects across the organisation.
  • Strengthen and improve our project management framework and principles to ensure timely delivery along with robust pipeline of projects which support achievement of strategic business goals.
  • Implement robust software development cycle to minimise deployment delays, rework and software bugs.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring our technology infrastructure is up-to-date, efficient, and responsive to business needs.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate against cyber security risk.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and partners including 3rd party vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure strong internal IT support through our outsourced helpdesk.
  • Assess the need for new equipment and software to meet internal and external needs.
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts to ensure our technology ecosystem is resilient during unexpected disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and productivity.
  • Provide insightful reporting and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years experience working in IT leadership positions.
  • Strong experience in business digital transformation.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development (AWS, MySQL, PHP), infrastructure management (including cybersecurity) and enterprise systems integration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain and report complex technical opportunities into business terms.
  • Strategic thinker to ensure technology efforts and resources are at all times fully aligned with and serving strategic business needs.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and initiatives within an agile framework, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Team oriented, with strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward thinking with a view to future technologies and an appreciation for working with and enhancing existing IT infrastructure and systems.
  • 3rd level qualification in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
