About LillyLilly is a leading pharmaceutical company that is committed to making life better for people around the world. We are currently constructing a state-of-the-art biotech drug substance manufacturing facility in Ireland, which will be our most technically advanced manufacturing site to date.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our Manufacturing and Quality (MQ) IT team at our Limerick site. This role will report to the MQ IT Senior Director and will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance manufacturing, laboratory, and supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement advanced manufacturing technologies, such as MES, SAP EWM, and real-time monitoring, to improve operational efficiency and productivity.Lead IT operational readiness activities, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of solutions.Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to integrate IT systems seamlessly.Provide strong leadership to your IT team, offering guidance, mentorship, and a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.Ensure all implemented IT solutions meet industry regulations, data integrity requirements, and internal quality standards.Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes effectively.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and adapt to changing priorities.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders for effective communication and collaboration.Measure success through the successful integration of technologies, increased operational efficiency, and improved manufacturing outcomes.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to bring a balanced mix of vital soft skills and technical expertise. Your leadership skills will be put to the test, requiring you to inspire teams, think strategically, and communicate effectively. Your proficiency in stakeholder engagement and change management will be paramount.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
