Seeking an experienced Operations Support Engineer with advanced expertise in Linux, virtualization technologies, enterprise storage, and Splunk queries. The role will support operational infrastructure and troubleshoot complex issues across various technical domains, ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic to intermediate understanding of hardware engineering design flows, licensing backends, and display technologies (e.g., ETX). Key responsibilities include developing and implementing advanced monitoring solutions, designing and deploying automation workflows, creating and refining escalation patterns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance and scale proactive operational strategies. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based systems, implementing automation and scripting to enhance operational efficiency, managing and supporting virtualization platforms, and developing and running advanced Splunk queries to monitor system performance and troubleshoot operational issues. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in operations support with advanced skills in Linux, virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage management, as well as expertise in developing and deploying monitoring tools and automation frameworks, and proficiency in Splunk for querying and monitoring complex systems. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a matrixed global organization. Excellent communication skills are also required, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
