Now let us tell you about the role: We are seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in network management, PC repair, and printer maintenance. Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is a plus, though not mandatory as training will be provided. The role demands excellent troubleshooting skills and a dependable character. Familiarity with Hikvision CCTV systems is beneficial but not essential, as we offer comprehensive training for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, and WiFi equipment. • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting and repairs of PCs, laptops, and printers. • Understand basic PLC operations and assist in troubleshooting industrial automation systems. • Provide support and maintenance for Hikvision CCTV systems, with training provided as needed. • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. • Maintain accurate records of repairs, fixes, and maintenance activities. • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth functioning of all IT equipment and systems. Qualifications: • Proven experience as an IT field engineer or similar role. • Strong knowledge of networking principles and PC hardware repair. • Basic understanding of PLCs and industrial automation systems. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites. • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in IT, computer science, or related field is preferred. • Valid Driving Licence Required.
