This role may span one or more areas of expertise; this will depend on the candidate’s ability to learn and absorb complex technologies.As an IT Field Service Engineer, you will:Provide on-site support to our customer base.Develop and build positive and professional relationships with our customers.Liaise with other engineers/technicians and customers.Diagnose/troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues at customer sites.Install/Configure servers, computer equipment & peripherals.Deal with customer issues effectively and efficiently, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with the services that we offer.Communicate regularly with the dispatcher regarding on-site visits.Document onsite information for Hudu.Update the ticketing system after each call.To be considered as an IT Field Service Engineer, you will need:An IT qualification in a related discipline or CompTIA.Experience and a proven track record in a similar customer-facing role in the IT sector.Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop OS (domain environment), desktop application related configurations, troubleshooting, etc.Strong problem-solving skills, ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to find a resolution.Good interpersonal skills, works well with others.Excellent communication skills, fluent in speaking and writing English essential.Hold a full, clean Irish/EU driving license.Be available to work out of hours – evenings and weekends on a rostered basis.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 16kg.Benefits:Company vehicle.Fuel Card.Competitive salary.Twenty-three days annual leave plus public holidays.Life Assurance Scheme.Opportunity to gain industry-recognized qualifications.Active sports and social club.Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).Career progression.Educational Assistance programme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
