Overview: PepsiCo is on the lookout for an IT Infrastructure Security & Network Lead to join our IT team in Carrigaline on a permanent basis. As IT Infrastructure Security & Network Lead, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining and optimising all aspects of a specialised application infrastructure ecosystem. Focusing on leading Cyber Security and Network aspects of this IT solution, while working with a peer responsible for compute infrastructure aspects. You will form part of a small but dedicated team responsible for ensuring this environment is stable, secure, and serves its user base well. This is a technical individual contributor role which requires in-depth technical skills in networking security and switching, while also having a wide breadth of experience in the scope noted below. You will be driving IT activities in building, improving and maintaining the uptime and integrity of the environment. The breadth of technologies used include: Cisco VPN, Cisco Firewalls, CyberArk, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Servers, Rubrik, Active Directory, Citrix, MS SQL Server. The role also supports and has co-ownership of sustain processes, Disaster Recovery, Governance and IT Risk Controls. Responsibilities: Principal role accountabilities: Lead subject matter expert in all aspects related to Network Security and Switching. Experienced and well-versed in Systems Security and Security technologies. Responsible for new technology introduction and technology refreshes by way of technical planning, high level design, implementation and testing for an Infrastructure and Network environment housed within a data centre environment. Responsible for the monitoring, support, documentation, administration and controls governance. Support and maintain the technical environment, with the assistance of global team and technology vendors where necessary. Partnering with business teams, IT leadership and Architecture teams. Responsible for protecting and managing the security of sensitive data. Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities within the environment. Qualifications: Essential skills: In-depth technical knowledge of range of IT practices and technologies across Security & Network & Compute. Previous technical experience in a customer facing environment. Excellent breadth and depth on practices and integration of security & network infrastructure technologies with significant experience in Cisco network/firewall equipment plus associated security applications that manage/monitor/protect/detect. Strong knowledge of Server, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, MS SQL Server, Citrix, VMWare, CyberArk, Linux. Ability to operate in highly regulated & controlled environment. Skilled in communicating technical topics both verbally and through written formats, including email and technical documentation. Comfortable and effective in engaging with senior IT management via verbal conversations and email. Takes ownership of workload and demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal direction. Capable of supporting and coordinating multiple projects and support activities simultaneously. IT Degree or equivalent. 10 years+ experience building and maintaining secure Cisco network solutions. Certifications highly desirable; CISSP, CCNP (Security) and CCNP (Routing & Switching).
