Job Description

IT Project Manager (Intermediate) - €420 Per Day Irish Government Organisation with responsibility for Healthcare Support requires an Intermediate level project manager to join their team for an upcoming upgrading project. Working alongside a Senior project Manager, this role would be particularly suitable for candidates with some experience in Infrastructure/Architecture that are now looking to progress into more advanced/senior roles. The role is located in Dublin North, close to the M50 and attendance onsite is required on average 2 days per week. While initially offered on a 24 Month Contract basis, there is a High probability of extension well beyond this date. About the role: The IT Project manager will assist in managing the delivery of IT projects as part of a wider team/ They will be responsible the reporting, resourcing, and prioritisation of several concurrent IT projects. In doing so, they will work with key stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure the infrastructure team provides the highest possible quality of service and is as responsive to business needs as possible Essential Candidate Requirements: * Third Level Degree in an IT or Business Discipline with strong element of management * Project Management Certification (e.g. PRINCE, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, etc.). A minimum of one certification is required. * A minimum of 3+ years' experience as an IT Project manager * Previous experience with assisting in the management of g large scale, complex, business and/or system transformation projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope. * Previous experience working in a Microsoft Office based environment that supports remote working * Strong Familiarity with a range of Microsoft Technologies particularly AD, Azure, Azure AD, MS Office 365, SharePoint, PowerPlatform and Windows Server * Strong understanding of how to manage the risk, quality and progress of ICT projects to organisational standards, e.g. contingency plans, issue resolution, challenge resolution, conflict management. * Have previously helped to implement organization-wide processes and procedures, tools and techniques for the identification, assessment, and management of risk from planned ICT- enabled change.
