Project Manager Role for Cloud Migration Projects
A senior IT project manager is required to lead the delivery of cloud migration projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, project monitoring, and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of a portfolio of cloud migration projects
- Deliver management support for technology projects
- Plan and direct projects to align with business objectives
- Support the wider team and programme in meeting deadlines
- Engage with stakeholders and work closely with teams and partners
Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years of professional experience in project management
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
- Excellent knowledge of IT software development lifecycle methodologies
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Experience in implementing infrastructure or database and software projects with big budgets
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification with a strong technical focus
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Excellent relationship management and ability to work with all levels of the business
