Senior IT Project Manager required for Dublin based client with a high level of understanding of project management best practices and technical goals.
Our client, a well-known organization in Ireland, is seeking an experienced and senior IT Project Manager to manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects focused on migrating legacy systems to the cloud.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects
• Provide delivery management support for technology projects
• Project mobilization and stakeholder engagement
• Project monitoring and control
• Responsible for planning and directing projects deliverables to align with the strategic vision
**Requirements**
• High level of understanding of best practices, tools, and techniques for project management and programme management
• Ability to understand technical goals and deliverables and how they impact the business
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent relationship management and ability to work with all levels of the business
• Relevant 3rd level qualification with a strong technical focus
• Excellent knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
• 10+ years of professional experience with a number of these managing and delivering projects
**Essential Skills**
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Experience of implementing infrastructure or database and software projects with big budgets
• Strong technical focus and ability to understand technical challenges
