An IT Project Manager (Lab Systems) is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Limerick based client on a 12-month contract position. THE ROLE: Agile Leadership: Serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Program Manager for the laboratory systems project, facilitating agile release processes. Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets for laboratory information systems and related projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment on project deliverables. Resource Coordination: Manage internal and external resources, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and effective utilization of team capabilities. Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders. Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress using Agile metrics, prepare status reports, and facilitate transparency across teams regarding project status and changes. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP, RTE, or equivalent certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on laboratory systems or healthcare IT. Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role, with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe). Strong understanding of laboratory operations, workflows, data management, and regulatory compliance.
