IT Quality EngineerFor our client, the leading audio entertainment company in North America, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer.Role summary:We’re seeking a Quality Engineer II for our team, responsible for ensuring that our Client’s iOS, Android, Web, and Consumer Electronics users have the very best music experience. You’ll have a huge impact on the quality of our Client’s growing suite of products and services by acting as a champion of quality engineering. You will be involved in all testing activities throughout the SDLC and leverage your knowledge in testing to influence better software design, promote best practices, introduce bug prevention strategies, and other advanced quality concepts across products.Duties and responsibilities:Analyze business requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications to ensure they are clearly defined, complete, and testable.Create and execute test cases to verify new and existing software functionality.Test applications via Black Box, Regression, Release, Stress, and Negative testing methods.Identify issues/bugs and report to developers and product owners.Demonstrate ability to isolate & troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack.Validate fixes and new features.Collaborate with other QE engineers on major initiatives and feature testing.Contribute to the enforcement of quality engineering processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.Provide status updates for all QE/TPM/Dev resources during the testing cycle.Seek opportunities to learn the backend infrastructure, services, APIs, and new testing trends that will impact testing of upcoming releases.Technological Skills that would be needed:Experience with test case management tools such as Testrail, Xray, etc.Ability to utilize proxying tools like Charles Proxy to supplement testing and debug.Experience with automation tools and frameworks, including Github, Xcode, and various IDEs.Experience in manual testing as well as automation testing tools - Java in Selenium, Carina Framework in Java, Jenkins.Automation testing knowledge of web and mobile solutions.Knowledge of mobile API.Knowledge of testing in AWS cloud environments in compliance with CI/CD rules.Soft Skills and Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred OR 2-4 years of experience in Quality Engineering or a similar customer-centric technical field.Solid knowledge of digital streaming devices and industry trends.Good public speaking and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Detail-oriented and well-organized.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to both internal and external client quality and customer advocacy.Willingness to take initiative and follow through on projects.Benefits You Can Expect:Competitive salary and annual bonus program.Healthcare provided to all employees and their eligible family members, paid by the Company.Life cover (4X base salary).Short and long-term disability.Pension contributions up to 8% of your annual base salary.Bike2Work scheme.Tax saver tickets.Employee Assistance Program.25 days annual leave (pro-rated).10 days paid sick leave.Maternity and paternity leave.Adoption leave. #J-18808-Ljbffr
