IT Security Manager sought to develop and manage cyber security strategies, protect information assets, and manage global security operations for a large organisation with a significant tech budget.
Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an experienced IT Security Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cyber, IT, Cloud and Networks, and will be responsible for developing and managing the cyber security strategies to protect the organisation's information assets, infrastructure, and manage the global security operations.
- Develop and manage cyber security strategies to protect the organisation's information assets and infrastructure
- Manage global security operations, including vendor management and solutions architecture
- Lead a help desk team and implement a governance framework
- Drive a security-aware culture and ensure compliance across the organisation
The role will involve working closely with the Head of IT Security and will require strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing global security operations.
The organisation has a significant tech budget of over €20 million per year and is looking for a key hire to join their team. The role will be based in North Dublin and will involve working on-site 2-3 days a week.
The salary for this role will be in the range of €100,000 - €110,000 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for a lead systems engineer, architect, or infrastructure SME looking to move into a managerial role.
