WANTED:IT Security Manager with a background in cyber, IT, Cloud and Networks ideally. My client is looking to hire a hands on somewhat technical IT Security Manager. The previous role incumbent came from a systems admin / network engineer background and grew into a manager. The role will look like an architect role,but with a managerial angle: Cyber, IT and Cloud, Networks, Help desk team management, Vendor management, with a certain amount of Solutions Architecture.This is a massive site, 5,000+ users, employing some state-of-the-art tech. The tech budget per year is circa 20+ million so this is a key hire for the business. Reporting to the Head of IT Security, you will be tasked with the development and management of the cyber security strategies to protect the organisation's information assets, infrastructure, manage the global security operations and implement a governance framework. This is a critical role for the business operating on a global scale to mitigate risk, drive a security aware culture and ensure compliance across the organisation.
