Job Description

IT Service Delivery Manager - €70-75K Leading European Multinational Insurance company requires at IT Service Delivery Manager to be based in their Dublin offices on a permanent basis The IT Manager is responsible for all IT Service Delivery functions covering Incident management, Problem management, Change management, Release management, Configuration management, Service level management and IT Service Continuity management. Attendance for this role will be on a Hybrid basis, with the successful candidate required to be onsite in the easily accessible Dublin City Centre office 2-3 days per week. (Fully remote working is unfortunately not at an option for the foreseeable future). Responsibilities of role o Ensure all service desk activities are completed to a high standard and within SLA o Own and delivery the Incident, Request, Change, Release and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance in these areas with accurate reporting o Ensure processes and procedures are in place for all activities and are kept up to date o Manage the implementation of new software to servers and laptops o Deliver the necessary IT configurations required for implementation of new applications required by the business departments o Evaluate, test and get buy-in for new technologies o Ensure governance related documentation are in place for all activities (e.g. signoffs, technical documentation, operating models) o Project Management - taking ownership when required of IT Projects by leading and delivering on time, within budget and in accordance with agreed quality standards. o Third Party Management - Proactively manage all Information technology 3rd party relationships including vendors, managed services and other external providers o Service Continuity - Lead and drive the information technology service continuity management (ITSCM) deliverables such as disaster recovery testing, test restores, recovery and plans o QA Management - Drive the implementation of the ISO 27001 across IT Team and organisation o Documentation and reporting - Provide regular and accurate reporting on IT Service performance for management and key IT/Non It Stakeholders Essential Candidate Requirements * Third level degree or diploma in Information technology, Computer Information Systems, or a relevant related field * ITIL Certification * Project management certification (Though significant experience may suffice for this requirement) * A minimum of 5 years in Enterprise level IT Service Support/delivery, 3 of which must have been spent in a supervisory/managerial role * Strong awareness of governance and regulatory obligations that apply to Financial Services organisation and a Group structure * Proven track record of delivering successful IT service delivery, IT based projects and supporting business project delivery * Working knowledge of ISO 27001 is required * Ability to lead and work with a small team of local IT experts to deliver day to day and project based activities IMPORTANT - All applicants must have immediate availability to work in the EU as our client cannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.
