Seeking a Junior IT Service Desk Support Agent to provide technical assistance and resolve customer issues in a dynamic retail environment.
Eason, a well-established Irish retail brand, is undergoing a digital transformation and requires a skilled IT professional to join its progressive IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Provide first-line technical support in a Microsoft environment, including password resets and Outlook issues.
- Prioritize and manage multiple support requests, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with web developers and designers to maintain internal and external websites, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Desired Competencies/Skills:
- Helpdesk/Service Desk experience an advantage.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Familiarity with basic IT hardware and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Basic understanding of the ITIL framework.
- Interest in studying or having studied computer languages like ASP.NET, C#, SQL, React, AWS, Redis, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
