Requirement: Mid-Level IT Solution Architect, to work a 39-hour week - hybrid (mostly remote, with max 5 days onsite - Raheen Business Park, Limerick), during Ireland business Hours from 9am to 5.30pm - Monday to Thursday & 9am to 4.30pm Friday. Ireland based, preferably Limerick & with good quality, preferably 1Gb fibre broadband connection. 6-month contract to start, to extend to yearly if candidate is deemed successful. IT Solution Architecture works across multiple Architecture domains so a foundation in system engineering, platform engineering or Information Security would be of benefit here. IT Solutions will be Ireland, USA or Global. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Be a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes in the Life Sciences industry. * Bring company policies, standards, frameworks, Enterprise Architecture governance, and reference architecture to each project team and to apply to each solution. * Facilitate and Capture detail for the IT Solution Design & Engineering Review (SDER) process including multiple design iterations of, and types of, IT architectural drawings using Microsoft Visio. * Facilitate and Capture detail for risk assessments e.g., Technical Security Risk Assessment, Vendor Security Risk Assessment, Legal Intellectual Property Assessment, and Data Protection Privacy Impact Assessment. * Support Computer System Validation (CSV) to complete an Initial System Assessment as required, to determine if a solution is GXP or otherwise. * Assist Application Subject Matter Expert's (SME) for Policy Exception Requests, Requirements Specifications, RFI/RFP process & solution selection. * Ensure that IT Configuration Management Database (CMBD) is maintained and updated on a regular basis (ServiceNow), as well as the LeanIX Enterprise Architecture tool. * Monitor IT Architecture intake requests. * Ability to work alone and as part of a global team. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent presentation skills. You will be delivering architectural presentations to senior IT and business leadership. * Maintain the team task list on Microsoft Teams. * Provide weekly status reports of work done and work in progress. * As well as such other (role related) services as may be requested by the company. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of system design, and implementation. * Can articulate Global enterprise systems including design, function, integration, data, security, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) & Data Center, High Availability & Disaster Recovery. * Knowledge of GxP., GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11. * Knowledge of enterprise architecture, design layering, ITIL, or TOGAF certification would be a bonus. * Experience required using Microsoft Visio e.g., various levels of design, data flow, & UML. * Experience using and maintaining records on ServiceNow & LeanIX Enterprise Architecture Tool. * Adhere to site regulations and complete required training associated with working in a GMP environment.
